Youth Environmental Leadership Camp

Ayo LLC is thrilled to be the recipient of the Liberated Pathways Grant to organize a camping trip centering BIPOC youth in the Greater Twin Cities Area (Minneapolis – St. Paul). The trip to Northern Minnesota will focus on improving access to outdoor spaces, embracing joy in community with others, and building an awareness of environmental systems. We will bring this trip alive by working with partners in the Great Lakes Region, like the Shakopee Diversity AllianceThe Urban Bird Collective, and The Bus for Outdoor Access & Teaching, to create a holistic, immersive learning experience.

Key Benefits and Outcomes of the Camp:

  • A stipend for participation

  • Awareness of regenerative agriculture
