Youth Environmental Leadership Camp
Ayo LLC is thrilled to be the recipient of the Liberated Pathways Grant from Justice Outside to organize a camping trip centering BIPOC youth in the Greater Twin Cities Area (Minneapolis – St. Paul). The trip to the Boundary Waters will focus on improving access to outdoor spaces, embracing joy in community with others, and building an awareness of environmental systems. We will bring this trip alive by working with partners in the Great Lakes region like the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, The Urban Bird Collective, and The Bus for Outdoor Access & Teaching to create a holistic, immersive learning experience.
Key Benefits and Outcomes of the Camp:
A stipend for participation

Immersive, nature-based educational experience
